Well you are glorious and I look foreward to your writing and photo shoots. Love yourself, Admire your natural way as best you can. Thank You for sharing
I think it must be time to buy a light and a soft box, the price of LED lights has fallen dramatically over the last 12 months and a large soft box would make a big difference. Or buy a circular reflector.
You’re not wrong! I even own a large circular reflector already. Sometimes I bring it along with me - sometimes I don’t. I’ll get there eventually - or I’ll just stop booking late-afternoon sessions 😅 Thanks for trying to help!
Here’s a link to a deep soft box as recommended by Benjamin Kanarek who shoot fashion for magazines in Paris mostly on location https://gvmled.com and it’s the Quick release and portable soft box (23.62”). He’s using their GVM-ST300R LED Video light (£306) mains or battery powered. Might be worth considering
I have no doubt that having a softbox with me (and the knowledge and experience to use it effectively) would be a positive for me in some situations. My practical concern is that, living where I do, I generally travel via some mix of public transport and walking to get to and from the shoots, and I don’t really know how I’d haul an external light and a softbox in addition to the Peak Design rollerbag full of camera gear I already bring along with me. If I had a car, this would be a no-brainer…
That's the one, yes. I can cram a reflector into it along with my other gear if I give it a little elbow grease. It's big enough to carry 2 or 3 cameras and lenses, a tripod, knee pads, and a water bottle and small/light enough to cart around on public transport and on crowded sidewalks.
👏

Fair comment, is this the Roller Pro ?

I have to confess… I adore your photos, they’re pure magic!
Thank you, Laura!
